Introducing Diana: The GG Team's All-Star Accountant

The Girls Getaways team has a brand new member! We’re so excited to welcome Diana, our All-Star Accountant, to the team. With years of experience in the accounting field, we can assure you we’re in good hands when it comes to finalising the numbers. She’ll be overseeing all things accounting and bookkeeping, making sure that everything is kept in check, and that your getaway runs smoothly within our operations team! - “Dealing with numbers has become my adrenaline” - Diana

To welcome her to the team, we sat down with Diana to find out a little more about her…

What is your educational background?

I am a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management, I really have a sweet spot when it comes to Hospitality and Culinary experiences.

What motivates and inspires you?

I have a dream of managing my own resort and restaurant some day. After meeting our girl boss, Jen, I got the strong impression that nothing is impossible if you put dedication towards what you love to do most. I know that I will learn a-lot from her and everyone in the team and I am elated be a part of the dream team that consists of empowered women.

What is your favourite way to relax and indulge in self care?

I am considered blessed of having up to 8 hours of complete sleep every night, leaving me rested and energised. During the weekends you’ll find me going on a jog early in the morning catching the sunrise.

If you’re going on a picnic, what are your top must-have snacks?

This question left me smiling…I always love setting a picnic for girlfriends and family, as well as preparing snacks. This is whats at the top of my list. Bottle of wine, fruits, pizza and cheesecake!

How would your friends and family describe you?

My Family and Friends know me well, we experienced both highs and lows together. They would describe me for being empathetic, responsible and indecisive person
